Split and the romans

Yesterday we took a long distance bus to the coastal town Split, read more about it at http://photowithoutcamera.wordpress.com/2012/07/24/road-to-split-morningnoon/

There we found a hotel by just walking around randomly then set about exploring the virus main attraction, Diocletian’s palace. I tried to take picture but it was hard to show it in a good light so here is a description http://photowithoutcamera.wordpress.com/2012/07/24/the-rival-split-4-ish-pm/

We walked around for most of the afternoon in this small old town, had dinner by the sea front then strolled around some more until we felt too tired to do anything more.

I figured it’s time for a few photos, enjoy.

I was hoping to add a couple of panoramic shots here but alas I have no way of making them with this equipment.
